‘See’ Lands Early Season 3 Renewal at Apple TV+

Apple has decided to renew their See series for a third season, ahead of its season 2 premiere.

See is a science fiction television series produced for Apple TV+. Far in a dystopian future, the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, build, hunt, and to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins is born with sight.

The cast consists of; Jason Momoa, Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper, Yadira Guevara-Prip, Alfre Woodard, and Josh Blacker. The series is executive produced by Steven Knight, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner.

Filming for the second season was expected to begin on February 3, 2020, and end on July 10, 2020. However, in March 2020, Apple TV+ shut down production on the series due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Season 2 ended up resuming filming on October 14 in Toronto, Ontario. Filming on the second season is expected to wrap up in March of 2021, with season 3 starting production soon after.

See season 2 consists of 8 episodes and is set to premiere later this year.  Production on the third season will begin shortly.
