Tom Hardy Cast As 007th James Bond

Now there's a name to die for.

Tom Hardy has been cast in the role of James Bond.

Tom Hardy is an English actor, producer, and writer who made his film debut in Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down. Hardy has also appeared in such films as Star Trek: Nemesis, Warrior, The Revenant, Mad Max: Fury Road, Legend, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk, and Venom. Tom Hardy will make his debut as Agent 007 in the 26th installment of the James Bond film franchise. 

James Bond is a fictional character created by the novelist Ian Fleming in 1953. Bond is a British secret agent working for MI6 and answers to his codename, 007. He has been portrayed on film by the actors Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and most recently Daniel Craig, in twenty-seven productions. 

No Time to Die is a forthcoming spy film and the 25th in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions. It stars Daniel Craig in his fifth outing as the fictional British MI6 agent James Bond. It is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga from a screenplay by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Fukunaga, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Rory Kinnear, and Ralph Fiennes reprise their roles from previous films, with Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, and David Dencik joining the cast as new characters. No Time To Die is currently set to release on the 30th of September, 2021.
