‘She-Hulk’: Marvel Series Will Span More Than 6 Episodes

Disney+ and Marvel Studios are prepping a slew of original shows, with She-Hulk‘s two directors confirming that their series will run more than 6 episodes.

Kat Coiro and Anu Valia took to Instagram to comment on their involvement in She-Hulk, with Coiro revealing what episodes she will be directing in a comment.

directing pilot, finale plus 4 other episodes. And Executive producing!

Valia didn’t reveal her episode count, though she did state that she will be directing more than one episode.

friggin toked to go on this ride together (@katcoiro is our visionary leader im just doing a few eppys !! but it’ll be a fun one

Given that Coiro is doing 6 episodes with Valia doing a few more, it’s clear that the series will have a bigger episode count than 6. While most other Disney+ Marvel series have been rumored or confirmed to be 6 episodes long, it looks like She-Hulk is not one of them.

It was previously revealed in Empire Magazine that the show will be a half-hour legal comedy.

Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao serves as showrunner with Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany playing the title character. Tim Roth is reprising his role as The Abomination from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, with Mark Ruffalo set to reprise his role as The Hulk. Filming is slated to begin on the 29th of March, with a presumed 2022 release date.
